Our Goals & Vision
Every holiday season, the Staff Senate sponsors a Spartan Season of Giving to bring joy and support to individuals and families on our campus. Through the generosity of our staff, we collect and distribute gifts to those in need.
In December, we come together for a festive wrapping party, where we prepare and package these thoughtful gifts, ensuring a memorable holiday for all. Join us in spreading cheer and making a difference in our community!

Join the Spartan Season of Giving! Support eight families, including two student families, by purchasing items from the daily-updated wish lists or donating to our Gift Card Fund for larger items. Your generosity will make a significant difference. Thank you for your support!

Happy holidays, Spartans! Our Staff Senate is proud to host our annual “Spartan Season of Giving” in order to provide a wonderful holiday to individuals and their families in our campus and Greensboro communities who could use a helping hand.
Nominations
Every holiday season, the Staff Senate sponsors an individuals and/or families on our campus to bring them joy and support. Through the generosity of our staff, we collect and distribute gifts to those in need.
Nominations are closed for 2025.
Donations
The Staff Senate appreciates any support in helping make our Spartan Season of Giving successful this year. A link to the Amazon Wish List is below. This year, we are including a new “Contribute Any Amount” option where you can contribute any amount as an Amazon Gift Card and Staff Senate will use those gift cards to purchase items on the list.
We are happy to accept any gifts outside of the Amazon Wish List as well; to do so please contact SSOG Committee Co-Chair Bridget Boyles bcboyles@uncg.edu.
All gifts must be received by December 10th. Please also join us on December 15 for the Spartan Season of Giving Wrapping Party.
