Spartan Season of Giving
Every holiday season, the Staff Senate help make the holidays a little brighter for individuals and families in our community. We always have a big wrapping party to tie a big bow around this special event!
Honoring UNCG Veterans & Armed Service Members
The Staff Senate is honoring veterans and service members with a card-signing and drop-in event, inviting the campus community to express gratitude and connect. Additional activities are being considered to further recognize and support our veterans.
Spartan Open Pantry
Founded and operated by Wesley-Luther United Methodist Church, UNC Greensboro’s food pantry provides students and employees who need a little help at the end of the month, homeless students and families who depend on the pantry for complete support, and assists our neighbors who need a hand.
UNCG Garden Plots
Available for use by UNCG faculty, staff, and students, the purpose of the UNCG Gardens is to build healthy, interactive urban communities through the collective production of locally grown, organic food.
Spartan Teacher Supply Drive
The Staff Senate hosts an annual drive to help furnish the classrooms of our graduating educators at UNCG. Supplies gathered will be distributed to our graduating educators and the remaining supplies will be donated to the Guilford County Teacher Supply Warehouse.
University Excellence Award Ceremony
This special event will honor the outstanding achievements of our colleagues through the presentation of the University Staff Excellence Award, the Ezekiel Robinson Emeritus Award, and the Gladys Strawn Bullard Award.
Appreciation Event
Each year, UNC Greensboro comes together to honor and celebrate the remarkable contributions of our dedicated staff.
