SUMMARY:QPR (Question Persuade Refer) Training
DESCRIPTION:Preventing suicide is a community effort. It is the responsibility of everyone in the Spartan community to intervene when someone is displaying suicidal behaviors. Engaging in QPR training gives you the skills you need to recognize the signs of suicide and provide support to someone in need. Question Persuade Refer (QPR) is a national training offered to “To save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative\, practical and proven suicide prevention training”. \n\n\n\nQPR\, similar to CPR\, provides 3 steps to take to save someone’s life. QPR participants will engage in a 90 minute\, instructor led-session.

We invite staff to come engage with the Staff Senate and enjoy the Weatherspoon. \nThe first hour will be in the museum’s auditorium and include presentations on the Fall 2023 enrollment and the report of the Financial Sustainability Task Force. \nThe second hour will feature opportunities to socialize and enjoy light refreshments in the museum’s atrium (weather permitting) and to tour the galleries and view exhibitions with the museum’s staff. \nPlease submit this form by Monday\, October 9 if you will attend the meeting in person.
