Employee Field Day

Come join us for this day of play designed to relieve stress, build morale, encourage camaraderie and promote fun. Come as an individual player, as part of a team, or just asĀ a spectator and cheerleader. Food, prizes, and fun for everyone. Wear your blue and gold. You will even have the opportunity to snag a picture with Spiro! April 26th in Foust Park will be the site of fun.

Rain Location: MAC Court in Kaplan Center

The Staff Senate will also be collecting non-perishable food items for summer meal packets for the Moss Street Partner School at the event. Please bring your donations to our drop off table.

Staff Senate Scholarship

The Staff Senate is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Staff Senate Scholarship.

Do you meet these criteria?

  • Are you or your dependent, spouse or domestic partner enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNCG for 2019-2020?
  • Are you a permanent full-time UNCG staff member?
  • Do you have at least 5 years of service in the North Carolina State System?

If so, you may be eligible to apply for the 2019-2020 Staff Senate Scholarship. Applications are due to Megan Cayton, Staff Senate PPD Committee Chair, no later than 11:59 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

This workshop provides information on surviving an active shooter incident.”Shots Fired!” is the last thing you expect to hear in the workplace or at school. Unfortunately, the possibility of this violent event taking place in your community has become a reality that employees and students have to deal with. Although no one is exempt from this threat, injury or death does not have to be the inevitable outcome.
