Veterans Day Celebration

UNCG will host its annual Veterans Day Celebration this Friday, November 9th. Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. with a holiday card signing for deployed service members, hosted by the Student Veterans Association and the Staff Senate from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm in E.U.C. Commons Area!

Chancellors Town Hall

The Chancellor’s Town Hall for faculty/staff has been rescheduled for Monday, November 12th, 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the E.U.C. Auditorium Pre-Function Room. The Town Halls were meant to replace the State of the Campus address. 

The Chancellor will offer brief remarks. The core of the meeting will be a Q.&A. format.

If you have a question for the Q.&A. portion of November’s Town Hall, please submit to Questions for Town Hall Meeting. You can also ask your questions at the meeting.  

Donate Blood

Join us on Wednesday, November 14th for the next E.U.C. Blood Drive. The drive takes place from 8:30am – 6:30pm in the EUC Cone Ballroom. All presenting donors will receive a t-shirt from the American Red Cross. Please go to the Blood Drive Signup for an appointment time.

Angel Tree Nominations Extended

The deadline for Angel Tree nominations has been extended to Wednesday, November 14th.  If you know a staff member or student in need this Holiday Season, please complete the application and send to Britt Flanagan at or (336) 334-4686 OR Katherine Stamey at or (336) 256-1397.

Bullard Award Nominations Open

Nominate faculty, staff and students who have shown outstanding leadership and service for the Gladys Strawn Bullard Award. Potential nominees are those who have gone above and beyond the normal expectations and community involvement of faculty, staff and students. Winners will be granted a $1,000 award. To nominate someone, complete the Nomination form before December 12th.

The Gladys Strawn Bullard Awards were established in 1981 with an endowed gift honoring the late Mrs. Bullard, an alumna of U.N.C. Greensboro. She was president of the U.N.C.G. Alumni Association and a member and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees. For more information about the award and nomination process, email

Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Opportunity

There is an opportunity to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity on December 14th. More information will be forthcoming.
